Intervening Border Guard and IDF forces tonight (Tuesday) thwarted an intrusion of three suspects into the base in the south, in the area of the fire areas in Tzalim.
During the activity of the MGB raiders, a report was received from the IDF regarding suspects making their way towards the base.
The forces targeted the scene with the help of a drone, identified three suspects in the vehicle and made an arrest.
Various hacking tools, gloves and face veils were seized in the vehicle.
The three suspects, residents of the Bedouin diaspora in the south, were transferred to the police for investigation along with the findings.

In February 2021, IDF forces conducted a pursuit of a minority member of the Bedouin diaspora, who managed to penetrate into the air force base in Nebatim, one of the army's most important and sensitive bases. The person who penetrated the IDF base stole a civilian vehicle, and policemen who were called to the scene of the incident, began a chase after him.
While fleeing from the police forces, the thief arrived at the gate of the air force base, where spikers were waiting for him who blew out the wheels of the stolen vehicle.
As a result, he had to abandon the vehicle and as part of the escape attempt, penetrated into the military base.
