The Israel Police began an intensive investigation in order to reach those involved in the act.

As the investigation progressed and after several arrests were made, the identity of the main suspect was known - Anas Abu Taha, a 20-year-old resident of the Bedouin diaspora Mat Sheva.

After the details of the murder suspect were circulated, he was located and arrested at the border crossing between Turkey and Bulgaria while trying to escape.

After his arrest in Bulgaria, an extradition request was submitted by the international department of the State Prosecutor's Office.

An extradition procedure was initiated against the suspect, which is also accompanied by the integrated operational coordination department of the police intelligence division.

Last week, he was extradited to Israel and transferred to the Negev District Court for questioning.

The arrest of the murder suspect was extended until 25.8 and tomorrow at the end of the investigation days he will be brought before the district court in Be'er Sheva.

As part of the investigation, another suspect, a 22-year-old resident of Tel Sheva, was arrested on suspicion of arson and obstruction of justice, among other things, by setting fire to the vehicle used to commit the crime.

This suspect will also be brought before the court tomorrow for the extension of his detention.

Sen. Yossi Doron, commander of the Negev Police Department, said: "Time and distance will not be an escape for those suspected of serious violent crimes. We used the best means available to the Israel Police and the State of Israel while locating and arresting the suspect who was suspected of fleeing from the threat of justice."
