Between July 20 and August 20, 128 people were arrested, i.e. three times more than last year at the same period, indicated the Minister, specifying that the "
volume of crack seized in fifteen days corresponds to the entire volume that was seized during the year 2021
".

The will of the prefect of police is to dismantle the crack market in the open air and we will not tolerate that it is reconstituted elsewhere
”, continued the minister on Wednesday in front of the mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, during the ceremony of the 78th anniversary of the liberation of Paris at the Prefecture of Police.
A meeting between the prefect of police, of the Ile-de-France region and the stakeholders of the crack plan, will also be organized in several days.
