Western powers must "
stop
" negotiating to renew the Iran nuclear deal because it will earn Iran "
billions
" of dollars and "
destabilize
" the Middle East, the Prime Minister pleaded on Wednesday August 24 Israeli Yair Lapid.
Iran's number one enemy, Israel welcomed the disengagement in 2018 of the United States of Donald Trump from the international Iranian nuclear agreement (JCPOA).
During negotiations to renew it, Washington indicated that Tehran had made concessions.
"A Bad Deal"
According to a senior US official, Iran is no longer blocking certain inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) when it previously demanded that the agency cease its investigation of undeclared sites where traces of enriched uranium had been found.
Tehran also dropped another demand, relating to the lifting of the “
terrorist
” designation of the Revolutionary Guards, its ideological army.

Despite everything, Israel still opposes the renewal of the agreement, especially if it means the lifting of economic sanctions against Tehran.
“
What's on the table right now is a bad deal.
This will give Iran 100 billion dollars a year
,” Yair Lapid said without explaining what this figure was based on.
The Jewish state against the agreement

This money will not be used to build schools or hospitals but will be used to destabilize the Middle East... by strengthening Hezbollah, Hamas and Islamic Jihad,
" he added.
"
In our eyes, the agreement does not meet the criteria set by (American) President Joe Biden himself: to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear state,
" the prime minister told the press.

A senior Israeli official criticized the draft agreement for not providing for the destruction of the centrifuges and therefore allowing Tehran to "
restart
" them when it deems it appropriate.
In recent days, Yaïr Lapid has urged the French president and the German chancellor not to sign an agreement with Tehran.

,” he said Wednesday, arguing that the Jewish state “
is not against a deal by definition, but against this deal
