The publication of the polls comes a day after the primaries in March in which Zehava Galon was elected to head the party.

Deputy Minister Yair Golan, who ran against her for the leadership of the party, came in fifth place on the list.

The outgoing chairman of the party, Minister of Health Nitzan Horowitz, came in seventh place, which appears to be unrealistic. Thus, none of the ministers from Meretz in the current government, including Tamar Zandberg, who decided not to run in the elections, will probably serve in the next Knesset. Second place in the primaries came to Mossi Raz. Ali Salalha entered the fourth place on the list after the party feared that a minority representative would not be placed.

The "Religious Zionist" party led by Bezalel Smotrich also held a primaries for the list yesterday, in which the four sitting MKs: Ofir Sofer, Orit Struck, Simcha Rothman and Michal were placed in the first four real places. Waldiger.

81% of party officials voted, a total of 19,431, most of whom exercised their right to vote on the digital platforms, through which it was possible to vote in the party's primaries for the first time.
