Li Jiachao also quoted President Xi Jinping's visit to Hong Kong on July 1 that he should pay special attention to caring and nurturing young people. PolyU redesigned the campus gate of Block A into the main gate, combining the colonnade design and red brick architectural style, with a green wall on the left side of the entrance, and a hanging ceiling on the main staircase, adding a modern atmosphere to the PolyU campus.
