The Russian Defense Ministry announced that its Aerospace Forces had destroyed a camp for Al-Nusra Front terrorists in Syria.
Deputy Director of the Russian Coordination Center for Reconciliation in Hmeimim, Major General Oleg Yegorov, said in a statement, "The Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed a camp for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists involved in the bombing of the cities of Khan Sheikhoun and Saraqib in Idlib province."
And the Russian military official indicated that "a communications site and a headquarters for terrorists were destroyed, in addition to an ammunition depot."
The Russian Defense Ministry announced several times over the past two years that it had monitored dozens of attacks carried out by the terrorist Jabhat al-Nusra organization in the de-escalation zone in Idlib, northwest of Syria, which were affecting the neighboring safe areas in the governorates of Hama, Idlib, Latakia and Aleppo.
