Beyond the success of her new album,
Renaissance
, Beyoncé is exploding Instagram likes with her promotional photos.
In these recent shots "liked" by millions of fans, the American singer appears in particular with a new hair color: a blonde with highlights made by colorist Rita Hazan, who takes care of the hair of "Queen B" for a decade.
Requested by many American fashion magazines which already proclaim this coloring as one of the key hair trends for the new season, the expert has revealed some manufacturing secrets of her work.

Light games
This aptly named 'Spotlight blonde' shade is designed precisely to make blonde hair shine like a spotlight is constantly shining on it.
Indeed, the specialist wanted to make sure that the lengths of Beyoncé hang perfectly natural or artificial light.
"This blonde we did for
Renaissance
brings more dimensions, so the highlights placed in her hair stand out a little more than usual," says Rita Hazan in an interview with American magazine
Harper's Bazaar
, in which she details this two-step process.
At first, the expert suggests lightening your blonde (natural or not) “by a shade or two”, in order to “prepare the ground for the reflections in a “spotlight” style”.
This is what makes the result “softer” and “which harmonizes the whole so that the locks do not appear too striped”, but rather that they blend “transparently” into the hair.
For all the blondes
Certainly, this halo of light was designed specifically for Beyoncé, but her colorist certifies that this look "integrates easily into any texture and style of blond hair", in another interview with the American magazine
Byrdie
.
"The key is to make sure the colors and shades used are all right for your skin tone to flatter you and your skin tone," she recommends.
On the other hand, for this first step, the hairdresser advises against pulling red undertones.
Then, place at the highlight of the show.
"From there, ask your colorist to do a slightly bolder balayage, but nothing too drastically different from what you're already wearing," continues Rita Hazan.
Again, highlights “one to two shades lighter will usually do the trick and make all the difference,” she guarantees.
On one condition: these light reflections must be “neither too thick nor too thin” and “strategically placed”.
Rigorous maintenance
In order to maintain the radiance and nuance of such coloring, Rita Hazan imposes a rigorous hair routine on Beyoncé.
“Gloss-effect treatments are very important for maintaining hair color between salon visits,” she warns.
In addition, the application of a "weekly treatment is essential to keep the hair in good health", opting in turn for an anti-brass product and another deep conditioner with each shampoo.
