For the sons and daughters of the martyrs, which is held by the first regiment of the Syrian Scouts, in cooperation with the Ethar Charitable Society, the Martyr Foundation, and the Association of the Sons and Daughters of Martyrs in Slanfeh district in Lattakia countryside and lasts for 7 days.

A member of the Central Committee for the Syrian Scouts in Latakia, the musician Ahmed Reda, explained in a statement to SANA that the camp brings together more than 190 participants from different age groups, including children, adolescents and youth, within a safe environment and a distinctive interactive atmosphere, during which they experience many experiences that mix between learning and entertainment, in addition to consolidating The rules of personal and general hygiene and building strong social bonds among them.

In turn, Jamil Hallaq, leader of the Sons and Daughters of Martyrs Group, indicated that the goal of participating in the camp is to draw a smile on the faces of the children, while the supervisor Jamila Zadeh of the Association of the Sons and Daughters of the Martyrs indicated that 20 students from the association participate in the camp and hopes that they will achieve the maximum possible benefit from the activities and activities. Enrich their general knowledge, explore nature, and learn how to conserve the environment.

For her part, Zainab Kiwan, supervisor of the Martyr Foundation, said that this first participation of the Foundation is about 35 children from among the sons of the martyrs, based on the importance of such activities in bringing about positive changes in the personal aspect and behavior and learning the values ​​of love, cooperation and altruism.

The participants, Khader Al-Saleem, Raghad Musa, Ahmed Al-Hassan and Ahmed Al-Mirami, expressed their happiness with this new experience, as it is their first time outside the home, and they will have to rely on themselves instead of their mothers to accomplish daily tasks.

Secretary of the Latakia branch of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, Haitham Ismail, visited the camp and honored the participants and distributed school bags and stationery to them in preparation for the new school year.
