Imam Hassan Iquioussen had bought his property in Lourches in the North in 2003 from an uncle of Gérald Darmanin, the current Minister of the Interior, assured AFP on Thursday August 25 a son of the preacher, confirming information from the Parisian, without being contradicted by the ministry.
The newspaper claims to have consulted the deed of sale, which establishes the transaction on March 27, 2003 between the company Darmanin Père & Fils, run by a paternal uncle of Gérald Darmanin, and Hassan Iquioussen and his wife Zaina.
Soufiane, the son of Imam Iquioussen threatened with deportation to Morocco, told AFP on Thursday that this sale had indeed taken place in 2003, with an uncle of Gérald Darmanin, Claude Darmanin.
"
It's possible
," said the minister's entourage.
“
Gérald Darmanin was not aware, it would be, according to the information provided, an uncle he has not seen for many years.
Obviously, this has nothing to do with the conduct of his actions
” as minister, added the entourage.

The Minister of the Interior announced on July 28 the expulsion of this preacher from the North, reputed to be close to the Muslim Brotherhood, whom he accuses of having launched calls for hatred and violence, in particular against the Jewish community.
The imam has been on file S (for state security) by the DGSI "
for eighteen months
", according to the minister.
The imam's lawyer - born in France but of Moroccan nationality - had filed an appeal against the expulsion order before the Administrative Court (TA) of Paris.
On August 5, this court decided to suspend the expulsion to Morocco of Hassan Iquioussen, considering in particular that it would cause a “
disproportionate attack
” on the “
private and family life
” of the imam.
The judge in chambers of the Council of State examines Friday a request from Gérald Darmanin who intends to have the order of the administrative court of Paris annulled.
According to Soufiane Iquioussen, the property is 3.5 hectares.
Several SCIs linked to the imam and his family are registered at this address in Lourches, according to online business records.
