A breathtaking panorama around Mont-Blanc
Friday at 6:00 p.m., 2,300 competitors will set off for a 170 km loop in a majestic setting, around the Mont-Blanc massif.
Glaciers, torrents, valleys and alpine passes at an altitude of more than 2500 meters await these walking enthusiasts who will take the paths of three countries: France, Switzerland and Italy under the gaze of the highest peak in Europe ( 4810m).
In terms of playground, the UTMB therefore sets the bar very high compared to the competition with a departure from Chamonix, the world capital of mountaineering.
