First report from August 24

: Ingolstadt – It is one of the most mysterious murders that the German police are currently dealing with: A beauty blogger was murdered, she was the partner of a rapper from Ingolstadt.

A woman who looks strikingly like her and another man are in prison for allegedly murdering the blogger.

The police are still looking for a motive for the crime.

The

tz

presents three theories.

Dead blogger and woman suspect bear “amazing resemblance”

The doppelganger theory:

Late Tuesday evening, residents in Ingolstadt alerted the police when they heard screams.

The police found a bleeding woman in a Mercedes on Peisserstrasse.

She died before the ambulance came.

A couple from Munich thought it was their daughter Sharaban K. (23).

They were worried because they couldn't reach their daughter, so they went to Ingolstadt.

The police and the Iraqi parents thought the dead woman was their daughter.

But the investigators soon found out that the dead person was another woman: the Algerian Khadidja M., also 23.

The police speak of a “stunning resemblance”.

The daughter, believed dead, and the Kosovar Sheqir K. (23) were arrested on Thursday, and an arrest warrant was issued against the two for joint manslaughter.

The investigators believe it is possible that Khadija, who lives in Heilbronn, had to die because Sharaban K. wanted to fake her death in order to disappear from the scene.

"That is our hypothesis," said the spokeswoman for the public prosecutor's office in Ingolstadt, Veronika Grieser.

Murder of Khadidja M. because of jealousy?

The jealousy theory:

Khadidja M., who is active on Instagram as a beauty blogger, was apparently with the Ingolstadt rapper Serkan S. (name changed).

He called for a funeral service at the crime scene on Instagram on Saturday.

Despite the rain, 150 friends came, Serkan S. broke down in tears.

An acquaintance told an RTL reporter that everyone involved in the crime knew each other well.

Shahraban K. was "keen" on Khadidja's friend.

"Then it escalated," said the young woman.

Did Sharaban K. hire her Sheqir K. with his help to get rid of her adversary?

The police say: "We currently have no knowledge of this, but are investigating in all directions."

Murder for Yazidi faith?

The honor killing theory:

According to the Yezidi rite, Sharaban K. was married to an Iraqi of this Kurdish faith.

They jointly ran a hairdressing salon near Vohburg.

The German-Iraqi is said to have recently separated from the Yazidi.

Did she then have a relationship with a Christian or Muslim?

"Yazidis only marry Yazidis," said a journalist of Yazidi faith to the

tz

.

Yazidi women were killed because they had relationships with non-Yazidis.

In this case, the Yazidis apparently had a relationship with a non-Yazidis.

Here, too, the investigators say: "We're not ruling anything out."
