Ho Siu-tung, Chief Criminal Inspector of Wan Chai Police District, pointed out that this operation is the third wave of large-scale operations in July and December last year to crack down on prostitution establishments controlled by triad groups and advertised as upstairs massage parlors. Police seized $130,000 believed to be the proceeds of crime, CCTV, business registration certificates, digital books, condoms and lubricants.

He Zhaodong pointed out that the current daily number of confirmed cases is 7,000 to 8,000, and there are still criminals conducting large-scale prostitution activities in the upstairs premises.
