Russia heavily destroyed the Donbass in the war of aggression against Ukraine.
Now Putin apparently has a plan for reconstruction.
Agreements with North Korea are said to already exist.
Kyiv — Russia recognizes Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts as independent people's republics.
However, in the war of aggression against Ukraine, Donbass was severely devastated by Russia itself.
Putin now appears to have a plan to rebuild the territories cheaply — with help from North Korea.
As the

Kim Jong-un has previously expressed interest in helping out Vladimir Putin in the Ukraine war.

According to the information provided by Bild
, the plan envisages
that North Korean construction workers carry out the reconstruction work in Donbass.
In return, Kim Jong-un is to receive financial aid from Russia for North Korea's nuclear program, which he recently threatened the United States with.
According to this, thousands of North Korean soldiers will soon be deployed in Donetsk, ready to defend themselves under special conditions, according to

.
North Korea had already made it clear in early August that they were ready to actively help Russia in the war.
As the
Daily Mail
quotes Russian news agencies, Kim Jong-un had offered Putin both construction workers to repair war damage and soldiers.
In exchange for energy and grain, he would be willing to offer 100,000 troops, the reports said.
North Korea recognized the independence of Donbass on July 13.
That was a prerequisite for the current deal between the People's Republic and China, according to the

Following China's announcement in July, Ukraine immediately severed diplomatic relations with North Korea.

Ukraine war: Separatist leader sends message to Kim Jong-un — 'bilateral cooperation'
The leader of Russia's representative forces in eastern Ukraine's Donetsk region also appears ready to cooperate with North Korea.
In a message to Kim Jong-un on August 17, Denis Puschilin congratulated the ruler on North Korea's independence.
He compared the country's history to Donbass, which is also fighting for its freedom, according to the message released by Korea's state news agency KCNA.

The separatist leader expressed hope that "an equally beneficial bilateral cooperation will be achieved between the Donetsk People's Republic and the DPRK, which will correspond to the interests of the peoples of both countries," the statement said.
Meanwhile, the United Nations has announced that it will never recognize shifted borders.
Great Britain and the USA assured Ukraine of further arms deliveries.
