Report: Israel destroyed about a thousand missiles in an attack in western Syria
The Syrian Organization for Human Rights reported that the explosions caused by the air strike in Masyaf in Hamaat continued for six hours afterwards, shaking the entire area.

US airstrike against pro-Iranian militias in Syria (Pentagon)
Israel destroyed weapons caches in the city of Masyaf in western Syria - this is what the Syrian Organization for Human Rights reported today (Saturday).
According to the organization, the explosions heard due to the attack on Thursday lasted for six hours, shaking the entire area.
During the attack, more than a thousand medium-range surface-to-surface missiles were destroyed, which were produced over the course of more than a year at the scientific research center under the supervision of the Revolutionary Guards.
The organization, which is affiliated with the Syrian opposition and is based in Britain, also reported that an officer of the Assad regime was injured in the attack and later died of his injuries and that 14 other civilians were injured.
The explosions and shrapnel from the missiles that exploded in these warehouses caused a lot of damage to houses in the surrounding areas.

Another target for attacks attributed to Israel on Thursday was reported in the city of Tartus, in eastern Syria.
The Saudi Al-Arabiya network reported that the attack was aimed at a Hezbollah weapon in the city located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.
In Tartus is the only naval base of the Russian army in the Mediterranean Sea, but in recent months the reports of Israeli attacks in the area have increased despite the Russian presence.
Only last Monday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov condemned Israel's attacks in Syria.
The last of which was reported on the 14th of the month, also in the Tartus area.
Israel did not comment on the attacks.
Both the attack in Meyyaf and Tartus happened in the early evening hours, a relatively unusual time compared to the hundreds of attacks attributed to Israel against Iranian and other targets in Syria since the beginning of the war in 2011.
They happened at the same time as clashes between American forces and pro-Shia militias in the east of the country.
