Russia's permanent mission to the United Nations presented evidence to the UN Security Council that Kyiv forces bombed the Zaporozhye nuclear plant on August 25.
The Russian mission wrote on its Twitter account today: We distributed to the members of the UN Security Council an explanation prepared by the Russian Ministry of Defense showing the bombing of the Zaporozhye nuclear plant by Ukrainian forces on August 25.
The mission added: "The radiation level at the station and its surroundings is within the normal range."
The Ukrainian forces targeted the station with several attacks using heavy artillery and drones, causing some damage to it, and they continue to disrupt the mission of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to the station.
