Deir ez-Zor governorate held a seminar on Legislative Decree No. 13 to grant facilities and exemptions that provide a supportive environment for owners of all forms of economic activity within the old cities of Aleppo, Homs and Deir ez-Zor governorates, including the old and heritage markets.
And benefit from the benefits of Decree 420 from the shops and commercial activities located within the underground markets in the city, which numbered 7 markets, which have been started to be rehabilitated.
The symposium dealt with its axes, during which Raed Mandeel, the President of Deir Ezzor City Council, Deir Ezzor Finance Director Muhammad Al-Karak, and the President of Deir Ezzor Chamber of Commerce and Industry Louay Muhaimid spoke, a detailed explanation of the provisions of the decree, the exemptions and facilities included in it, the real estate and the events it includes in Deir Ezzor and their impact on reactivating work in Deir Ezzor Markets, trade and craft events.
The participants in the symposium stressed the importance of issuing the decree, whose comprehensiveness and breadth exceeded expectations, demands and ambitions, and carried a wide package of exemptions, facilities and benefits that would provide a supportive environment for the national economy and contribute to the return of brilliance to these markets.
The seminar was attended by the governor of Deir Ezzor, Fadel Najjar, the secretary of the Deir Ezzor branch of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, Raed Al-Ghadban, and the provincial police chief, Major General Bilal Mahmoud.
