If you are still not completely sure how much your dog really loves you and enjoys being with you (or he just lives with it in peace) - here is a method for you to make sure.
Since dogs can't tell us in words what they feel, there are some signals in their body language that give away their feelings beautifully.
According to new research, the side their tail wags can be a sign of how happy and relaxed they feel around you.
A study conducted at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing documented the way dogs met strangers over the course of three days.
As the dogs became more familiar with the human, they began to wag their tails more frequently to one side.

The study, published in the journal iScience, found that swiping to the right side is associated with happy feelings and swiping to the left side is associated with sadness.
Lead researcher Dr. Yong Qiu Zhang said: "Positive and negative emotional states have been associated with activation on the left and right side of the prefrontal cortex in humans." So, if a dog's tail wags to the left, they may feel scared or nervous, but if it wags to the right - It is likely that they feel calm and happy.
The study found that the more the dog gets to know and feel comfortable with the person next to him, the more his tail will wag to the right. He also found that dogs have a distinct pattern of wagging that is unique to each one.

The study used a 3D motion tracking system to investigate how 10 beagle dogs wag their tails when they were with humans for five minutes a day over three days.
Dr. Deborah Wells, from Queen's University in Belfast, commented on the findings: "'The shift to waddling to the right indicates that the dogs perceive the stranger in a more positive light given the time that has passed.'
