The Ministry of Jerusalem Affairs has warned of the dangerous attempts of the Israeli occupation to change the legal and historical situation in Al-Aqsa Mosque and to Judaize it, calling on the international community to assume its moral and legal responsibilities and to put pressure on the occupation to stop its ongoing violations and crimes against the Palestinian people and their sanctities.
The ministry confirmed in a statement carried by the Palestinian Wafa Agency that settlers storming Al-Aqsa Mosque today from the Al-Asbat Gate is a flagrant violation of the legal status of the holy sites and a new attack added to a long series of Israeli violations by escalating the pace of daily incursions to Al-Aqsa and provocative tours in it and encroaching on its contents and the ongoing excavations in its surroundings and in Al-Buraq Wall and Umayyad Palaces.
Today, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its condemnation of the continuous attacks by the occupation forces and settlers against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and their desecration of its courtyards, stressing that the settlers storming the mosque from the Lions Gate side is a flagrant violation of international law with the aim of completely Judaizing Al-Aqsa.
