The observation is clear: the climatic events of the last three months have had an impact on the French.
After a summer victim of all ills, ranging from heat waves to fires, through episodes of drought and bad weather, several media have published surveys on the impact of these episodes on the French population.
A Yougov poll for
Le HuffPost,
posted online on Monday August 29, notably established that nearly 9 out of 10 French people make the link between the extreme events of this summer and global warming.
What is surprising with this figure is that this finding is unanimous among those questioned, despite the age difference.
Each age group shows a score above 85%, and
The HuffPost
notes the same impression of partisan proximity: 91% for Nupes and Renaissance voters, 80% for Republicans, and 84% for supporters of the National Rally.

A BVA survey, for Orange and RTL, carried out on the Internet on August 25 and 26, also goes in this direction.
Of those surveyed, 87% now say they are aware of the impacts of climate change.
Only 13% say they are skeptical.
Among them, 10% believe that the events of this summer cannot be attributed to climate change and 3% question the very existence of global warming.

16% consider that this initiative is the responsibility of the public authorities and 7% remain skeptical or even fatalistic, believing that we can no longer act on global warming.
