In a conversation with Israel Hayom from Rimonim Prison, Harari said: "For the sake of industrial peace, the intelligence officer brings in poor, innocent female prison guards, 18 and 19 years old, and the security prisoners do as they please. The prison guards are afraid of the prisoners and afraid of their work, so they remain silent. Unfortunately, this has become a ritual .
"We have to create a big shock here, it's unbearable. It's shocking. These are dangerous people. They also have nothing to lose, because they are sentenced to several life sentences. Body cameras require a small budget, it costs pennies. You can connect the cameras to a control center and see everything online, to see if the guards are protected and safe and to prevent such incidents."
Avner Harari (67), who has a rich criminal record and spent quite a few years in prison, was arrested in early 2017 as part of the case of placing explosive devices in famous vehicles.
He is suspected of being behind the placing of the charges in the vehicles of former soccer player Kobi Musa and singer Margalit Tsanani.
According to the suspicion, Harari sent songs he had recorded to Margol's radio show, but she did not play them - so he sought revenge on her.
An indictment was filed against him at the court in Tel Aviv.
He was acquitted of placing the luggage in Tsanani's car, but was convicted of the attempted murder of the footballer.
