IDF forces arrested a wanted man who turned himself in this morning (Monday), and during the operation an exchange of fire developed between the fighters and Palestinian militants. The terrorist's brother was wounded by IDF gunfire.
The security forces are still operating in the area in order to arrest another terrorist.
Violent disturbances broke out, as Palestinians threw heavy objects from the roofs, iron rods and stones at the soldiers.
Last week it was allowed to be published that the security forces arrested a suspect who planned to carry out an attack in the center of Jerusalem.
Along with him, other suspects were arrested for crimes of terrorist activity and participation in violent disturbances.
The main suspect was arrested last month, and his investigation led to the arrest of the other suspects, young men from Jebel Mokbar in East Jerusalem.

The main suspect was interested in purchasing an M16 weapon at a financial cost of tens of thousands of shekels, but ultimately did not do so.

The security forces arrested the suspects in the shooting and the soldier was taken to the hospital to continue receiving medical treatment. The IDF spokeswoman said that the soldiers completed the operation there.
In another operation in Judea and Samaria, two suspects were arrested for shooting at the bus a week earlier.
