Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that the unipolar order in the world is being replaced by a new world order based on the basic principles of justice and equality.
Russia Today website quoted Putin as saying, in a speech he addressed to the participants in the Seventh Eastern Economic Forum, to be held in Vladivostok from 5 to 8 next September, that the main topic of the forum this year is the path to a multipolar world where the outdated unipolar model is replaced. A new world order, recognizing the right of every country and people to its own sovereign path of development.
Putin noted that the forum enjoys a high international standing, contributes to building trade relations between Russia and the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, encourages attracting investments and technological innovations, and reveals the rich economic and social potential of the Russian Far East, stressing that strong political and economic centers are being formed in the Asia-Pacific region. .
Putin had stressed in the middle of this month that the situation in the world is changing in a dynamic way, as more countries are now choosing the path of sovereign development and rejecting Western hegemony, calling on the West to be aware that the era of unipolarity is over and that the multipolar world is in the interest of all.
