An indictment was filed last week against two illegal residents of the territories, for breaking into an apartment in Rishon Lezion about a year ago, and stealing a safe containing tens of thousands of shekels.
The police started investigating the case after a resident of the city complained in March of last year about a break-in at his house in the morning hours.
The resident's survey also states that the burglars stole a safe from his home containing NIS 60,000 in cash, checks, credit cards, jewelry, computers, cameras, and other property.

The burglars, a couple of illegal residents, in their thirties and forties, managed to break into the apartment after lifting the roller shutter in the showcase window of the house, holding it with a chair, and smashing the glass window.
After that, the robbers removed the safe in its place.
The owner of the apartment stated that only the damage caused by the robbers to the apartment, without the stolen property, amounts to NIS 117,000.
After over a year of the incident, the police arrested the two burglars about a week ago.
The Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court filed an indictment against the two illegal residents, for theft, residential burglary and malicious damage to property.
Also, a request was submitted to the court to continue the arrest of the two until the end of the legal proceedings.
