Together with the 5 guild members who have already declared club membership, 7 of the 16 unofficial members of the guild have membership in the Hong Kong Golf Club.
Cheng Muzhi: Mistakenly thought that private membership does not need to be declared
When receiving media enquiries, Zheng Muzhi said that he initially thought that private memberships such as golf clubs did not need to be declared. Later, he was reminded by the secretariat of the guild that the public was interested, so he made an update.
He said that if the guild will discuss related projects, he will definitely report it, and the chief executive will decide whether to participate in the discussion.
At present, those who have declared membership of the club also include guild convener Ye Liu Shuyi, members Ren Zhigang, Tang Jiahua, Lin Jianfeng and Liu Yeqiang.
On the 17th of this month, Leung Gao Meiyi added 16 new membership or organization member declarations, including the Jockey Club Honorary Director, the Hong Kong Club Member, and the Honorary Vice President of The Community Chest of Hong Kong.
Cheng Muzhi added 42 new memberships or member declarations, including being an honorary selection member of the Jockey Club, a member of the Hong Kong Club, a member of the Hong Kong Country Club, a member of the Hong Kong Japanese Club, and a member of the Wuling Club.
