Mikhail Gorbachev dies at 91, the last president of the Soviet Union

Mikhail Gorbachev, the last president of the Soviet Union before its dissolution, has died in Moscow at the age of 81.

His presidency was related to the terms "perestroika," or reform, and "glasnost," or openness." His cause of death has not been published, but he had been battling severe illness for a long time.
