The renovation industry is leaping forward.
About a month before the beginning of the holidays, according to data received by "Ndelan Hayom", there was a significant jump of 27% in the renovation industry in Israel compared to the corresponding period last year.
The Renovation Contractors Association checks every year before the holiday season what is happening in the field, how much money Israeli families spend on renovating their homes, what are the trends for the upcoming holiday and what is the "hot room" every year, that is, the room that most Israelis choose to renovate.
Apart from the jump recorded in the percentage of families who decided to renovate their home in the last year, it also appears that there has been a significant increase in the average risk of renovation among Israeli families.
Last year the average renovation of an Israeli family was about NIS 30,000, while this year the average family is renovating about NIS 38,000 on average.
"The hot room"

What is the popular renovation in Israel?
In 2022, and ahead of the holidays that will arrive next month, the most common renovation according to the Association of Renovation Contractors is adding decorations in the main room of the house, which is the living room, including adding niches, coverings and decorations.
We are also told by the association that after three years, the popular theme of renewal during the holidays is back at the top of the Israeli priorities and thousands of families have ordered both exterior and interior house painting.
