Queen of Metal meets Queen of Schlager?
Doro Pesch's fans definitely don't think much of a duet with Helene Fischer.
The loud boos irritate TV garden presenter Andrea Kiewel but then.
Mainz - The 15th edition of this year's ZDF television garden was all about the motto: Rock in the garden.
Also present was Doro Pesch, the self-proclaimed Queen of Metal.
She celebrates her 40th stage anniversary next year and Andrea Kiewel has a wonderful idea: a duet with Schlagerqueen Helene Fischer.
The fans present don't seem to think anything of it.

Doro Pesch was properly celebrated by the Fernsehgarten audience.
However, Andrea Kiewel's proposal to record a duet with Helene Fischer, one of the most successful German hit stars of all time, was less well received next year.
"If you celebrate your 40th stage anniversary next year, a duet with Helene Fischer ?!" Andrea Kiewel asks the Queen of Metal after her performance on the ZDF television garden.

The fans of Doro Pesch are definitely not enthusiastic about this idea.

"That would be good too," laughs Doro Pesch, who supported Motörhead in 2010, somewhat uncertainly.
The local rock fans are less cautious and openly show what they really think of the idea: loud boos can be heard from the audience when the pop singer is named.

The reactions of her audience are very irritating to Andrea Kiewel: "I'm surprised that rock fans have a musical limit in their heads".
However, the moderator seems to think her idea is so good that she makes a second attempt at persuasion: "Now imagine: 'Breathless through the night' in Doro style.
Dude, how awesome is that?”.

But the audience cannot be convinced and more boos can be heard.
tz.de asked Doro's management what she said about her fans' action.
Booing other artists isn't exactly respectful.
So far we haven't received an answer.
However, Schlager fans didn't just fall for their mouths either: the rock music is not as popular with viewers at home as hoped.
Many viewers are demanding their normal Schlager garden back online.
