Bar is right: Talia long ago crossed the line of good taste

One of the dominant residents in the Big Brother house is Talia Ovadia - the consensus even says that she should win the season, and there is an army of fans behind her who, rumor has it, is managing the eliminations.

But not everyone likes her.

That's it, Ofek and Sherin are gone, and Talia and Sheaf can finally live their anime love story.

Great - a real Romeo and Juliet only without all the passion, youth, death or interest.

The production's attempt to maximize this love story is admirable and all, but asking these two to generate real interest is a bit excessive in my opinion, after all, these are two people without charisma or pepper, so I don't really understand how these two minuses are expected to make a plus.

Anyway, let's talk about Talia for a moment.

I know she's beautiful and tall and thin and applies perfect eyeliner and makes a little scared femme fatale face, but can someone explain to me all this love she's getting?

People talk about her like she's a reincarnation of Bambi's mother, and I wonder if I'm the only one who should be shouting here that the queen is naked.

Let's start with the whole eating disorder thing (allegedly, in my opinion, unfounded and completely hypothetical) but a woman who eats only carrots and tuna and then does a "detox" in which she drinks ground parsley because the day before she snacked on some popcorn - that doesn't seem normal to me.

I personally know that food is something that should allow us to do things like breathe or function, and it's perfectly fine to manage it and consume it in moderate amounts, but avoiding it completely doesn't seem like a healthy habit to me.

It's not cute, and it's not charming, and it long ago crossed the line of good taste, and even though we've gotten used to horrors in prime time because our real world is full of horrors and missiles fall here and everything, maybe it's worth reducing the screen time of this nutritional minimalism.

But let's leave the food, what really annoys me about Talia is the fattening, the beautification, and most of all the self-deprecating, which includes opening her eyes excessively in every unpleasant situation she finds herself in.

Ofek lights up on her?

Wow, how strange!

How did this happen to the fragile and delicate Talia?

Why did the evil Ofek do this terrible thing to her?

It's all in his head.

It is impossible that he developed feelings because she lay in bed with him for hours, created a physical closeness that would have aroused the libido of any man (certainly one that is stuck in a closed house without the possibility of releasing "tensions"), had soulful conversation after soulful conversation with him and in between spent time in gentle intimate openness.

And he fell in love with her after that?!

Shocking.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not against flirting, God knows I'm happy to learn from any femme fatale, seven or not, but my problem is with Talia's "surprise" in light of the situation and especially her handling of the situation.

You made a sensitive little boy fall in love with you and you pushed him away with the gentleness of a semitrailer, and then, when he and his broken and rejected heart can't find rest, you open a pair of closed eyes at him, bat your eyelashes and say that he's wrong to be mad at you,

He read the map perfectly, by the way - as soon as these two started having conversations it was clear where it was going and Talia behaved like any woman who has no one and feels lonely - she enjoyed the attention and that is completely understandable.

It doesn't mean that she should have done something different or that she shouldn't have flirted - she is allowed everything and she doesn't have to do anything.

The problem here is the attitude towards the horizon and the impatience when he wandered around the house like a wounded wolf and didn't understand what to do with himself.

The combination of her surprise and infatuation as a response to every shy little giggle as an answer to the question "what would you do if I kissed you" is classic gaslighting.

And then there's the seagull.

I'm sure she really likes him just like I'm sure these two don't stand a chance out there.

What annoys me is the endless tests she puts him through just to give him a grade on every answer.

- Will you make a financial agreement with me?

- Would you agree to raise a horse in the yard?

- Will you move with me to Herzliya?

- Will you come on a date in Rishon Lezion?

After each such question a seagull answers and receives a score.

The matter of the financial agreement brought to him failed with the addition "I have more than you", the approval for the horse in the garden received an "over", the residence in Herzliya is still under discussion, and the fact that he does not want to come all the way to Rashel to win a meal made by Talia (the orange punch writes itself so I I'll avoid him) is probably a very low score, with a bonus of a fight.

And the worst part?

Even though she talks about how much she opened up in the hearth, it seems like she's not taking any steps towards real development, but just endlessly repeating behaviors that quite clearly stem from a real, deep-seated insecurity.

The obsession with looks, the flirting, trying to come off as good and charming and right in every situation, all are symptoms of someone who just wants to be loved because she probably doesn't believe that she deserves true and unconditional love, and as cliché as it is, until she doesn't really love herself, she will continue to flirt, to get closer, and check non-stop who does want to be there, but she won't believe it - not really, and in the meantime she will continue to drive everyone around her crazy.

Which is sad, but on the other hand - great for ratings.
