The Iraqi military announced today the arrest of three terrorists in Anbar Province, in the west of the country.
The Iraqi Security Media Cell said in a statement that SANA’s correspondent in Baghdad received a copy of it: “A military force carried out preemptive intelligence operations that resulted in the arrest of three terrorists in ambushes set up for them in the control of the farmers on the island of Saqlawiya in Anbar, and they are among the terrorists listed in the database because they are wanted by the judiciary.” .
The statement added: The same force was able to reach two tunnels, one with a length of 450 meters in the T1 area and the second with a length of 500 meters in the Al-Jazeera area in Anbar, which are used as safe havens and rest areas for terrorist groups, and large quantities of food, mattresses, cooking utensils, drilling tools, weapons and ammunition were seized.
Yesterday, the joint Iraqi forces announced the arrest of a terrorist group affiliated with ISIS in Sulaymaniyah, northern Iraq.
