Saturday night at the festivities in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid).

Among the groups of those who enjoyed the last days of summer with liters of beer and plastic cups, some young people approached in search of a cigarette.

“Do you have tobacco?” they asked.

Nothing strange so far in a party environment.

It was the perfect excuse to rob the victims.

Turning around, a clean punch to the gut or chest.

When the victim crouched down, they took the opportunity to steal the personal objects that she was carrying: mobile phone, wallet, money, jewelry, chains... Six men, three of them minors, have been arrested by the National Police for an alleged crime of robbery with violence and intimidation during the parties last weekend.

Also,

a fight around half past three in the morning on Sunday in a booth caused the police to vacate the fairgrounds, which brought together more than 10,000 people, according to the Alcalá de Henares City Council.

The night, in which there were several altercations, resulted in one detainee for public disorder and four injured agents.

Between the screams of the attendees and the altercations against the police, another six people took the opportunity to steal.

The detainees did not expect that there would be plainclothes agents prowling the streets.

And his escape plan didn't work.

Before they ran away, they were caught red-

handed

by the plainclothes officers who were guarding the fairgrounds for the local festivities.

They had no time to prepare to flee.

The agents acted and arrested the perpetrators of the robberies at the time, returning the personal belongings to the victims.

The events occurred during the festivities of the Madrid municipality, on Friday and Saturday nights.

There were seven victims, between the ages of 16 and 20.

The detainees are of Moroccan nationality: three are between 18 and 19 years old and the other three are minors.

"Some have records for similar crimes, including some registered this month of August," says a spokesman for the Madrid Police Headquarters.

In addition, he clarifies that some went together and others did it alone.

In addition, there is another detainee for riots early Sunday morning.

A 19-year-old young man who, after being released, will be investigated for the alleged commission of a crime of resistance and disobedience to authority.

For its part, the National Police continues with the investigation to clarify whether the origin of the altercations originated in a brawl between opposing Latino gangs, a hypothesis that has yet to be confirmed.

"It's a hypothesis, like any other," says a spokesman for the Madrid Police Headquarters.

Of the six arrested for robbery, three have gone to court and the other three, at the disposal of the Prosecutor's Office, for being minors.

After the arrest and once in court, as 32 and 24 hours have passed (for minors), they have been released.
