The Amberg animal shelter is looking for a “forever home” for Balu the dog.
The little male had to endure a lot, he came to the shelter as a found dog.
Amberg - Not an easy start in life: the one-year-old shepherd mix Balu was outside for days until he was finally found with a dog trap and ended up in the Amberg animal shelter.
The male apparently originally came from Romania, was mediated and apparently passed on by his family' "He escaped from the new owners and was on the run for days," according to the animal rights activists.
"What an odyssey!"

"So small and already experienced so much": Balu the dog is looking for a new family
In the mediation call from the animal shelter, Balu is described as a "beautiful guy" and a "little slob".
He's really thawed now.
The young male gets along well with conspecifics, so he could also be adopted as a second dog.
The animal rights activists wish for Balu "a house with a garden" and "a lot of time and empathy" from the new owner.

"We don't know exactly what Balu has experienced so far, but apart from his 'escape' there must have been some other unpleasant experiences in his young dog's life." The dog is not really suitable for small children.
The shelter is looking for a "forever home" for the one-year-old.
"We want a family where he is accepted for who he is"
The new owners should know what it means to adopt a second-hand dog.
The animal rights activists want a family where Balu can be a family member and who accept him for who he is.
Anyone interested in getting to know the little male can contact the animal shelter in Amberg directly: hallo@tierheim-amberg.de.
Not only Balu is waiting for a new home at the Amberg animal shelter.
The Shih Tzu girl Fee is also looking for a new family, but according to the animal shelter, the dog is "savvy behind the ears".
Livestock guardian Carlos, a "great guy" and German shepherd Bear -
who ended up in the shelter because his owners split up –
need new reference persons.
