Aldi with an offer for "Wiesn delicacies" - reactions are violent - "Whoa, how disgusting"

The Oktoberfest is just around the corner.

Associated with this was also a high life for Bavarian folklore.

Aldi is now also advertising the "marquee feeling" - and collects bitter malice.

Munich - Who doesn't know it: A delicious Bavarian white sausage for breakfast, dipped in plenty of mustard sauce.

The start of the day can hardly be more Bavarian.

That's probably what Aldi thought, too, where just a few days before the start of the Wiesn this culinary "highlight" is served up.

The image from the corresponding brochure is now circulating on "Jodel", where the advertised product receives very clear "feedback".

The picture shows a plate full to the brim with mustard sauce.

Inside is a somewhat small white sausage, along with mashed potatoes and wine sauce cabbage.

However, the prepared plate does not seem to stimulate the appetite: "Whoa, how disgusting.

This is not just cultural appropriation, this is cultural insult!

Who sells something like that?” writes one user.

Another even goes one step further: "Whoever put this on the market should be expelled from our promised Bavarian state for life!" Of course, the comments are meant ironically, but the aversion to the product should still be fundamental.

Another user is already imagining scenarios: "You'll be given a deadly stare if you put that in the shopping cart and on the conveyor belt!" Either way, the makers behind the product probably didn't expect this type of comment.

However, the joy after a forced two-year break for the upcoming Oktoberfest should not cloud even this "original" product, even the weather is supposed to be imperial during the Oktoberfest in Munich.
