A particularly emotional closing of the circle took place today (Thursday) at the "Love of Yitzhak" school in Kochav HaShahar, when Eliezer Rosenfeld accompanied his grandson, named after his son who was killed in the attack, to the first grade, and even played in his honor.

25-year-old Malachi Rosenfeld was murdered in June 2015 when he was with three of his friends, all players in the basketball team of the Kochav HaShahar settlement, on their way back from a game in which they participated.

When they were on Alon Road, terrorists opened fire on them from a passing car.

Malachi was mortally wounded and died a day later at Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem.

He was laid to rest in the cemetery in his locality.

6-year-old Malachi Damari, named after his uncle who was murdered, entered the first grade today at the same school where his uncle attended.

On the occasion of the happy occasion, his grandfather, Eliezer Rosenfeld, also a resident of the settlement of Kochav Hashar in the Binyamin Regional Council, accompanied him to his school.

The grandfather played with great joy and excitement in honor of the children who entered the first grade, including his grandson.
