A 42-year-old man was fatally stabbed by his 38-year-old partner on Wednesday evening in Morangis, Essonne, several sources close to the investigation told Le Parisien.
An investigation in flagrante for spousal homicide was opened by the prosecution of Évry-Courcouronnes, contacted this Thursday, confirming information from AFP.

The tragedy occurred in the district of Croix Boisselière, around 9 p.m.
It was the 16-year-old son of the stabber who alerted the police following a fight between his mother and her spouse.
In circumstances that remain to be determined, the mother stabbed the victim "several times", says a source familiar with the matter.
The man died quickly despite the intervention of the emergency services.

The account of the facts remains to be clarified, because the mother, in a state of shock, was hospitalized after her placement in police custody and has not yet been auditioned, as well as her son who attended the scene.
The investigation was entrusted to the departmental security of Essonne.
