From there, the two presidents and their wives will fly to Munich to participate in the state memorial ceremony to mark the 50th anniversary of the massacre at the Munich Olympics in which 11 Israeli athletes were murdered.

Later, the president and his wife will lay a wreath next to the German president and his wife at the memorial to the Jews who perished in the Holocaust in the heart of Berlin.
