The American occupation forces continued to steal oil from the Syrian island and took out 98 tankers, trucks and tankers, most of them loaded with oil, to Iraqi territory.
Local sources from the Yarubiyah countryside told SANA reporter that a convoy of 73 tankers carrying stolen oil from wells in the eastern region and al-Jazira was removed by the American occupation forces through the illegal Mahmoudiya crossing with Iraq.
The sources added that the occupation forces brought out a second convoy today, consisting of 25 tanks and trucks carrying equipment, some of them covered.
Yesterday, the occupation forces removed 123 oil tanks from Al-Jazeera fields towards Iraqi territory.
