Those accused of the crime in the town of Valladolid, with various antecedents, were hiding in Salamanca. One of those arrested has a record for another homicide in 2008

The Civil Guard has arrested two people for the shooting death of a young man in front of an illegal nightclub in La Cistérniga (Valladolid, 9,000 inhabitants) on August 1.

The deceased, 25 years old, with a son and who responded to the initials BL, had argued with one of the subjects in an old inn converted into an irregular nightclub.

Then, outside the premises, he was fatally shot, after which the escape and subsequent persecution of the two arrested began, a 42-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, both with multiple records, including another homicide in 2008 by the male.

Likewise, two other individuals have been arrested for covering up the two main suspects, who were hiding from the authorities in Salamanca.

The first investigations of the agents managed to clarify that the deceased, from Valladolid, was Spanish and not Portuguese, as the false documentation he carried said.

The civil guards have managed to conclude that the verbal dispute that began inside the nightclub intensified outside, and that the man who shot fled in a car with a woman.

The investigators have resorted to witnesses, images and different documentation, as reported in a press release, to certify that one of those attending the scene of the event was driving a vehicle that has subsequently been linked to that of those allegedly responsible for the murder.

Thus, it was possible to reach another man and another woman, accused of covering up, who were arrested for covering up the facts.

As a result of that first step in the process of discovering the murderers, it was possible to direct the investigation towards Salamanca.

The alleged perpetrator of the event and his accomplice have been arrested there, for which the intervention of the Civil Guard's special intervention unit was necessary, since one of them was particularly "dangerous" and had installed "extreme self-protection measures to avoid being discovered in a home in a Salamanca neighborhood where he had been hiding since the commission of the homicide.”

Those responsible for the murder have multiple violent histories, including gender violence, threats, illegal possession of weapons and several for crimes against property.

One of them was in jail for another homicide in 2008. Those arrested have been brought to justice, which has ordered their admission to prison without bail.

The case remains open for full clarification of what happened.

A short 9-caliber weapon, hats and three mobile phones have been found in the registered home that will be analyzed.

Police sources confirm that the alleged perpetrator of the shot responds to the initials RA and has an extensive criminal record behind him and that he spent six years in the Topas prison (Salamanca), between 2014 and 2020, for his cooperation in another violent death .

The illegal nightclub where the murder took place is located on the outskirts of La Cistérniga, a town very close to the capital of Valladolid.

There, according to police sources, young people usually meet and drug consumption and retail abound.

The murdered young man was known to the authorities for drug trafficking and had recently been arrested for sexually exploiting a woman in Aranda de Duero (Burgos), in whose home significant amounts of illegal substances were found.
