Failing to see his National Refoundation Council (CNR) crowned with success, Emmanuel Macron has decided to accelerate another project announced for the start of the school year: the refoundation of La République en Marche (LREM).
New step on the agenda, an online consultation of members of the presidential party should lead to the inauguration of Renaissance on September 17,

This event is to be held at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, a symbol of Emmanuel Macron's victory in the 2017 presidential election. The head of state could himself be present.
Some 23,000 “certified” members of LREM are currently registered.
They must approve a list of members of the collegiate management, a charter of values and new statutes providing for strong departmental decentralization.
Forced to prove their identity to participate, voters are much fewer than the 400,000 members claimed in 2018.
