The name Gertraud Gruber is closely associated with the concept of beauty.
The estate of the entrepreneur who died in March is now being auctioned off in an auction house in Munich.

– The beauty pioneer and Rottach honorary citizen Gertraud Gruber died in March of this year at the age of 100.
Now the estate of the entrepreneur comes under the hammer.
According to the Munich auction house Ursula Nusser, where the estate will be called up on Tuesday, September 20, it is "the beautiful things in life" that make everyday life special for Gertraud Gruber that are on offer here.
Figures of saints, furniture and paintings by Gruber are auctioned
In addition to the "beautiful things", spirituality and faith were also part of the life of the famous woman from Rottach, according to a press release from the auction house.
This is reflected in the objects to be auctioned.
Icons, figures of saints, a reliquary cross, monastic works and votive hearts are all on offer.
Furniture such as a rustic cupboard and an Irschenberger chest of drawers as well as paintings will also be auctioned off.
Auction house: memorabilia are offered from 50 euros
Here, according to the auction house, there is the opportunity to "acquire a souvenir of this extraordinary woman and outstanding personality".
Among the items to be auctioned are pieces starting at 50 euros.
The proceeds go to social causes - in the spirit of the deceased who have been involved in charitable work throughout their lives.
The auction begins at 3 p.m. in the auction house at Nymphenburger Strasse 86. The catalog can be accessed online from September 10 at www.nusser-auktionen.de.
