The excitement about the full trains is followed by the hangover about the local transport, which is again expensive, and the return to the jungle of tariffs.

That too. The traffic light coalition, which got all the trouble, has to complain, not only to the media, but also to itself. When the Greens make the tank discount bad and the Liberals condemn the 9-euro ticket ("free mentality ’), the coalition partners should not be surprised at the bad reputation of their policies.

Good marketing works differently.

FDP leader Christian Lindner wants to relieve the "working middle" with the reduction of the cold tax progression, SPD and Greens with direct payments low and normal earners.

But if the bickering traffic light coalition partners are smart, this time they will leave the nitpicking to those who are responsible for it full-time.

The Left Party and AfD can hardly wait to turn the cold autumn into a hot one.

And in the Kremlin they are already rubbing their hands.
