Deir Ezzor-SANA
Several explosions occurred this evening at the US occupation base in the Al-Omar oil field in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
Local sources in Deir ez-Zor told SANA reporter that explosions were heard at the base, followed by clouds of smoke rising from inside the base. The nature of those explosions was not confirmed.
The sources pointed out that the explosions were followed by an intense flight of the American occupation aircraft over the area.
A missile attack targeted the US occupation base in the Koniko oil field on the 28th of last month and, according to US press reports, resulted in injuries to the occupation forces and material damage.
The American occupation forces have established bases in several areas in the Syrian Jazeera, especially in the oil and gas fields, to steal their production and smuggle it abroad in coordination with their mercenaries in the “Qasd” militia.
