Mountain bike accidents: helmet would have prevented worse

The patient was cared for by the local mountain rescue service, transported down to the valley and handed over to the ambulance team.

This brought him to the accident clinic in Murnau.

Five mountain rescuers and an emergency doctor were also on duty here.

In both bicycle accidents, a helmet had prevented worse.

On the last weekend in August, the mountain rescue team and the fire brigade celebrated the traditional mountain mass at the foot of the Benediktenwand after a two-year corona break.

Despite the cloudy weather, numerous visitors gathered on the hill in front of the Tutzinger Hütte.

The service was held by Pastor Father Heiner Heim.

The brass band Benediktbeuern took over the festive musical framework.
