At the beginning of September, the first autumn storm is slowly moving towards Germany.

In Spain he brought huge hailstones.

But Germany should expect hot days.

Munich — Autumn has officially been in Germany since September 1st, at least in meteorological terms.

The first autumn storm is now approaching Germany just in time.

But it shouldn't really be autumnal this weekend.

The storm seems to bring a few hot late summer days to many regions.

An overview for the weekend and the following days.

Weather in Germany: Ex-tropical storm brings hot days back to Germany

September starts very differently in Germany this year.

At the beginning of the weekend, rain is forecast in the west and south, which Germany's rivers urgently need.

"It will be wet again," predicts weather expert Dominik Jung.

Especially on the night of Saturday, the weekend starts with seven degrees, which is really fresh in places.

It remains the same for the southern parts of the country on Saturday — wet and thunderstorms.

However, the weather is likely to change for Sunday and the beginning of next week.

The first storms are gathering over the Atlantic.

"There will be hurricane gusts of up to 180 km/h in the next ten to 14 days.

Former tropical cyclones are approaching the North Atlantic and are really shaking up the weather kitchen," says weather expert Dominik Jung at

wetter.net

.

For Germany, this means first and foremost a few last warm late summer days.

The ex-tropical storm blows the warm air to Western Europe.

So it can also get really warm again at the beginning of the next week.

The heat is back.

And the expert also thinks a beautiful Indian summer throughout September and October is possible.

“As always, the warmest corner is the west and south-west.

On Monday and Tuesday, around 30 degrees and a little more are measured again," says Jung.

The tropical storm, which brought huge hailstones to Spain, is likely to bring warm hours and thunderstorms in places in Germany, reports

wetter.com.

The German weather service sees the situation a little more uncomfortable and is already forecasting “almost nationwide increasing showers and thunderstorm activity with heavy rain, local risk of severe weather due to heavy heavy rain.”
