The policy of the United States of America has never gone beyond saying things and doing the opposite as it does today by playing the Chinese Taiwan card and inventing various forms of interference in China's internal affairs such as provocative visits and providing logistical and military support to enhance the separatist spirit on the island, which threatens China's sovereignty and national security and seriously violates the commitments it made Washington to the Chinese government on its adherence to the one-China principle.
After the provocative visit of US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the angry Chinese reactions that resulted in the largest military maneuvers in the region, which were followed by a subsequent visit by a congressional delegation, here it is today announcing an arms deal to Taiwan that was considered by the Chinese embassy spokesman in Washington Liu Pingyu is an interference in China's internal affairs that endangers its sovereignty and threatens peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait because it sends wrong signals to the separatist forces in Taiwan.
This $1.1 billion deal is not the first, as Washington has completed fifteen deals with a total value of about $20 billion since 2016, violating the one-China principle and the three joint statements between Beijing and Washington.
The US State Department, in turn, did not deny the deal, but confirmed it through a statement that it included 60 Harpoon missiles capable of sinking warships and 100 short-range Sidewinder missiles capable of intercepting missiles or drones, in addition to a maintenance contract for the Taiwanese radar system worth 665 million.
Apparently, the United States of America is working on repeating the Ukrainian scenario that proved its failure by supporting the Kyiv regime with various types of weapons, even at the expense of its reserve stock. This was expressed by Representative Mike McCaul, a prominent member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, who said, “It is depleting ammunition stocks. The US military is supplying weapons to the Ukrainians directly from its warehouses and indirectly to Taiwan at a time when the supply of weapons from Western countries to Ukraine has already begun to decline,” according to the American Defense News website.
Facts prove day after day that the United States of America is the biggest threat to peace in the Taiwan Strait and regional stability, and that it is the maker of problems that affect the entire world through its blatant interference in the internal affairs of countries, waging wars against countries that are not subject to its policies, and imposing sieges on them with the aim of overthrowing their governments.
