The police arrested tonight (between Saturday and Sunday) a father and his son, a 16-year-old minor, on suspicion of attacking two protesters from the Crime Minister movement that held a demonstration last night at Gesher Rashonim in Rishon Lezion.

The police intend to bring them to a court hearing this morning with a request to extend their detention.

Demonstrators from the Crime Minister movement were violently attacked this evening while demonstrating on the Ness Ziona Bridge

The police started an investigation after receiving a report about an ATV in which the two men allegedly threw stones at a group of about 15 protesters, injuring two of them.

As I recall, the activists of the "Crim Minister" organization were attacked yesterday while they were demonstrating against Benjamin Netanyahu on the Rishon Bridge.

According to them, they were attacked with sticks and stones, when according to them the attackers were right-wing activists.

"We were attacked a few minutes ago by crazy bibists," said Haim Trivax, who was injured in the incident, and added: "They don't agree with the very demonstration and our very existence. We tried to stop them. They went upstairs with stones. I got hit with a stick behind my back."
