Disappointment for fans: Quidditch will not be available in the Harry Potter game

Hogwarts Legacy is perhaps the game that Harry Potter fans have been waiting for the most: it will allow players to explore the wizarding school in the open world, attend classes, learn new spells, and perform any activity that comes to their mind and is taken from the books.
Except for one, very popular.
We have already seen in the trailers that in the open world of Hogwarts Legacy we can ride a flying broom and navigate the map, and many players have already developed expectations and dreams where they can play Quidditch and become champions, but now it turns out that this is not the case at all - and the sport for wizards is not available in the game at all.

The official website of the game states: Quidditch will not be played in the game, but flying on a broomstick including racing challenges are part of the game.
The players will also be able to ride a broom and explore the areas surrounding Hogwarts freely." Considering that this is an open world game that should give the players complete freedom and give them the illusion that they are part of the universe - this is definitely a heavy disappointment for fans who have developed expectations.
To date Quidditch has appeared in most games Harry Potter, and when the brand was under EA's hands during the 2000s it certainly included it in the games, and even released in 2003 the Quidditch World Cup - dedicated entirely to the wizarding national sport.

Hogwarts Legacy was recently pushed back to February 10, 2023, and will be released for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X\S, and PC.
The Nintendo Switch version will be announced at a later stage.
