On Sunday afternoon (September 4th), the integrated regional control center Northeast issued a warning that applies to several areas along the river.

  • Angermunde

  • Eberswalde

  • Chorin

  • love

In the affected areas one should not fish and under no circumstances should dead fish be touched, it was said on Sunday afternoon.

The causes of the fish kill have been the subject of heated debate for weeks.
