Palestinian Foreign Ministry: The occupation continues to demolish Palestinian homes and the silence of the international community is complicity in the crime

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the continued Israeli occupation of demolishing Palestinian homes in the West Bank, especially in the occupied city of Jerusalem, aims to empty them of their residents and replace them with settlers in one of the worst forms of forced displacement and ethnic cleansing.

In a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the occupation demolishes Palestinian homes in full view of the international community, which is satisfied with statements expressing concern, explaining the dangers, appeals, formal demands, describing the crime, and in the best case condemning it without any measures to deter the occupation and oblige it to stop this crime or hold it accountable for it.

The Foreign Ministry warned of the dangers of dealing with this crime as figures in the statistics or as a normal matter that is repeated every day, stressing that the absence of deterrent international measures is a flagrant involvement in this crime and others, and it provides more time for the occupation to complete the implementation of its colonial settlement plans and eliminate any opportunity to establish a Palestinian state.
