Cathy Hummels went to the USA a few days ago.

The 34-year-old presenter is working there on a new TV project, which has taken the model to Los Angeles, among other places.

Will the Munich native soon conquer Hollywood?

Los Angeles – Cathy Hummels rarely allows herself long breaks: Instead, the 34-year-old is always working on new projects and modeling, acting and moderating her way successfully through the German media landscape.

Now the ex of BVB central defender Mats Hummels apparently also wants to get started far away from her homeland, namely in the USA – right?

In fact, Cathy Hummels is currently in Los Angeles with her father Fredi, son Ludwig and her friends Anna and Tanja and is enjoying life there, “far away from all worries”, as she writes on Instagram.

But the influencer is by no means staying in the city of angels just for pure pleasure: she is working on a new TV project there!

After all, she wouldn't be the first German to start there.

Cathy Hummels is in Hollywood's best company, because the 34-year-old is by no means the first German to try her luck in the City of Angels.

The roots of some well-known US film stars are in Germany: the mother of Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio moved from Oer-Erkenschwick (North Rhine-Westphalia) to the USA in the 1950s, the blonde film beauty Charlize Theron speaks - thanks to her mother Gerda Jacoba Aletta (née Maritz) – even a little German and the director Wolfgang Petersen (“Air Force One”, “Troja”), who died in August 2022, and his colleague Roland Emmerich (“Independence Day”, “2012”) were even born in this country and made it it to establish itself in the USA.

Filming in Los Angeles is expected to last about two weeks.

It is not yet known when Cathy Hummels' latest project will actually be broadcast.

The viewers can at least now prepare for one or the other unintentionally chaotic scene: on their journey from Munich to LA, the luggage of the 34-year-old is temporarily missing.

But it is well known that the presenter can also laugh at herself: Recently, Cathy Hummels explained in a video that she was "too stupid to eat" because she always spills – and promptly remedy this with a homemade bib!
